Overview
125kW inverter and 225kWh lithium storage reference configuration for a Nigeria supermarket, with critical-load separation, switching assessment and optional PV/generator interface review.
Working Principle
With the grid available, the controller manages load supply and battery charging under the selected strategy. During an outage the inverter and battery support the designated critical circuits. Optional PV may supply daytime loads and recharge storage; connection of an existing PV system or generator requires interface and control checks.
System Components
- 125kW inverter system and 225kWh lithium battery
- Power/battery cabinets, battery management and system control
- AC protection and critical-load distribution; optional PV and generator interfaces
Selection Advice
- Separate refrigeration, checkout, lighting, security and communications from deferrable loads; collect compressor start currents and simultaneous demand.
- Size runtime from the actual load profile, permitted battery discharge and losses, not 225kWh alone; 125kW is not battery energy.
- Confirm single-line diagrams, grid voltage, existing PV/generator controls, protection and a switching acceptance test for interruption-sensitive equipment.
The Chinese solution lists a reference design, not measured backup hours or savings. Switching time, existing equipment compatibility, installed model/firmware and usable energy require project confirmation; no uninterrupted-transfer guarantee is made.
FAQ
How long will 225kWh run the supermarket?
There is no fixed runtime without average/peak loads, refrigeration cycling, allowed discharge and conversion losses. Provide the critical-circuit load profile.
Can existing PV or a diesel generator be connected?
Assess voltage, power, interfaces, controls and protection against the selected inverter and drawings. The optional interface is not evidence that a particular existing installation is compatible.
